Prof. Rangan Selected To Be A Participant At The Frontiers of Engineering Symposium
NYU WIRELESS Professor Sundeep Rangan has been given the honor of representing NYU-Tandon at the National Academy of Engineering’s “Frontiers of Engineering Program,” to be held in Chantilly, France this November. The Frontiers of Engineering program brings together a prestigious group of emerging leaders from industry, academia, and government labs to discuss technical work and cutting edge research in various sectors. About 60 top engineers under the age of 45 will meet for this intensive 2 ½ day symposium to discuss developments in four areas: Nanosensors, Big Data, the Future of Transportation, and Wireless Broadband. The event accelerates cross-disciplinary research collaboration and encourages the creation of a transatlantic network of world-class engineers. Each attendee at the FAE program must be between the ages of 30 and 45, have demonstrated accomplishment in engineering research and technical work, be interested in engineering developments in other fields, and possess the potential to be a future leader in the U.S. engineering endeavor.
